CVE-2026-88255Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Duplicate submissions via noncanonical transaction encoding

Published Sep 16, 2026 · Updated Sep 16, 2026

Improper input validation in ZenHive MPP 0.2.0 through 0.16.1 allows remote attackers to submit one Tempo payment twice. MPP.Methods.Tempo reserves the deduplication slot using caller-supplied transaction hex instead of a canonical transaction identity, so equivalent recovery-ID encodings create different keys. Both requests reach broadcast; a duplicate-rejecting node fails closed, while an already-known response produces a second receipt for one payment.
