Unauthenticated command execution via unguarded dashboard API
Published Sep 10, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Improper access control in the Santifer career-ops web dashboard before 0.8.0 allows remote attackers to execute commands through API requests. The web/ API routes that spawn processes and write user files accept requests without checking request origin or requiring a loopback client address. Exploitation requires a source-checkout dashboard to be running plus either a malicious page in another browser tab or direct local-network access; npm installations lack the dashboard.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
