Cross-site scripting via unencoded routing parameter
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Autonomy Logic OpenPLC Runtime 3 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a query parameter. The web interface inserts the program-routing query parameter into generated HTML without encoding, causing markup and script to be interpreted rather than treated as text. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a user to open the crafted route; successful script runs in that user's OpenPLC web session.
