Unauthenticated code execution via unchecked file upload
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 19, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Ivan Churakov Paid Downloads 3.15 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via an admin-post request. The admin_request_handler function treats is_admin() as authorization and accepts files without validating their type. Code execution requires the uploaded file to be directly retrievable, as on nginx, LiteSpeed, or Apache with AllowOverride None.
