Subscriber-level stored XSS via unchecked option update
Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026
Stored XSS in Booking System Trafft 1.0.17 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via a crafted setting. The trafftSetOptions handler accepts bookingWebsiteUrl from the set_options AJAX action and writes it to trafft_option without a capability check; trafftAdminAssets later loads embed.js from that URL. Subscriber-level access and agency mode are required, and any page containing the booking shortcode loads attacker-hosted code in visitors’ browsers.
