Remote command execution in KGUARD DVR firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary system commands without authentication. An unidentified firmware program binds its command-execution service to all interfaces and accepts commands without authentication. Network access to the undisclosed service is sufficient for full DVR compromise and malware installation; Netlab withheld its port and protocol details.
