Authenticated data disclosure via unescaped FTS query
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
SQL injection in SiYuan before 3.8.2 allows remote authenticated users to read all document content through block search. The fullTextSearchByFTSInBox path concatenates the method=1 query into an FTS5 MATCH string without escaping single quotes, enabling UNION SELECT injection against the blocks table. Any authenticated role can reach the path; anonymous publish-mode readers can also bypass publish-access controls and expose notes, attributes, references, bookmarks, and search history.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
