Unintended memory access via unchecked phalFelica API bounds
Published Oct 8, 2026 · Updated Oct 8, 2026
Out-of-bounds memory access in NXP Semiconductors NFC Reader Library 07.14.00 and earlier allows attackers to access unintended memory. The phalFelica module insufficiently checks API bounds before memory access; NXP has not identified the exact API call or input path. Exposure requires a FeliCa-based application on an affected NFC reader platform and either privileged access or relevant input from an untrusted third party.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
