Insecure deserialization in affected GitLab EE releases allows remote authenticated users to obtain Advanced Search credentials. The GraphQL subscription serializer accepts a specially crafted subscription argument that bypasses serialization controls and performs server-side object lookup. Exploitation requires an authenticated account with Duo Chat access and exposes Advanced Search instance configuration and sensitive credentials.
