Web management outage via IdP issuer injection
Published Oct 8, 2026 · Updated Oct 8, 2026
Configuration injection in Brocade Communications Systems Fabric OS before 10.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to stop web management. The Federated Authentication configuration path fails to sanitize the Identity Provider issuer value before writing web server directives, allowing crafted input to add directives. Administrative access or control of an imported Federated Authentication configuration is required; injected directives can prevent the web management daemon from starting or alter its security controls.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
