Command execution via unsanitized configuration download parameters
Published Oct 8, 2026 · Updated Oct 8, 2026
OS command injection in Brocade Fabric OS before 9.2.2d and 10.0.0 through 10.0.0a1 allows attackers to run commands on switches. During a configuration download, the management daemon passes relay host strings and filenames to a utility that fails to sanitize shell metacharacters before constructing a system shell command. Exploitation requires an administrator to initiate a download using a malicious or compromised configuration file.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <9.2.2d
