CVE-2026-87667

Arbitrary file read via configuration-search argument injection

Published Oct 8, 2026 · Updated Oct 8, 2026

Argument injection in Brocade Fabric OS before 9.2.2d and 10.0.0 through 10.0.0a1 allows remote authenticated users to read local files. Its configuration-management CLI passes user-supplied search string options to internal search commands without sanitizing them, allowing those options to be interpreted as command arguments. Exploitation requires low-privilege administrative access to switch management and exposes files such as configuration data, password hashes, and system secrets.
