Sandbox memory disclosure via uninitialized GPU resource
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Uninitialized GPU resource use in Google Chrome before 153.0.8010.36 allows remote attackers with renderer control to read memory outside the sandbox. The GPU component exposes contents from a resource before initialization, but Google has not disclosed the affected code path or resource type. Exploitation requires a compromised renderer process and a crafted HTML page; the reported consequence is an out-of-sandbox memory read.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
