CVE-2026-87642Network attack vector

Cross-origin data disclosure via uninitialized WebGL resource

Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026

Use of an uninitialized resource in Google Chrome's WebGL implementation before 153.0.8010.36 allows remote attackers to leak cross-origin data. WebGL exposes data from a resource before initializing it, allowing prior contents to cross an origin boundary; Google has not disclosed the exact resource or code path. The attacker must cause a crafted HTML page to load; the reported consequence is data disclosure, not modification or service interruption.
