Origin-policy bypass into privileged pages
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Google Chrome before 153.0.8010.36 allows remote attackers to bypass web origin policy into a privileged page. A crafted HTML page reaches Chrome's Isolated component, but Google has not disclosed which authorization check misclassifies the target origin or permits the privileged-page transition. Exposure requires Chrome to process attacker-controlled HTML; the documented consequence is access across an origin boundary into a privileged page, with no published claim of code execution or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
