Cross-origin data disclosure
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Information disclosure in ServiceWorker in Google Chrome before 153.0.8010.36 allows remote attackers to obtain cross-origin data via crafted HTML. Google has not disclosed the ServiceWorker code path or the incorrect operation that exposes cross-origin responses. A target must load attacker-controlled HTML, after which the flaw breaches the browser's same-origin boundary and reveals data from another origin.
