Sandboxed code execution via Input use-after-free
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Use-after-free in Input in Google Chrome before 153.0.8010.36 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted HTML. The Input component accesses memory after it has been freed, allowing attacker-controlled page content to influence later memory operations. A user must load the crafted page, and the reported execution remains inside the Chrome sandbox with no sandbox escape established.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
