UI misrepresentation in Google Chrome before 153.0.8010.36 allows remote attackers to spoof Downloads UI elements via crafted HTML. The Downloads component renders attacker-controlled page content in a way that misrepresents trusted browser interface elements; Google has not published the underlying code path. Exploitation requires social engineering that induces a user to open the crafted page, and the reported consequence is deceptive UI rather than code execution.
