Sandboxed code execution via V8 out-of-bounds write
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in V8 in Google Chrome before 153.0.8010.36 allows remote attackers to execute code inside the sandbox via crafted HTML. V8 writes beyond an allocated memory boundary while processing attacker-controlled page content, but Google has not disclosed the affected function or malformed value. Reachability requires Chrome to process the crafted page, and the reported consequence remains confined to the renderer sandbox without a separate escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
