Unauthenticated trust-store modification via certificate injection
Published Oct 8, 2026 · Updated Oct 8, 2026
Certificate injection in Brocade ASCG before 3.5.0 allows remote attackers to modify its TLS client trust store through management requests. The management interface accepts unauthorized CA certificates without authentication, causing the client trust pool to trust attacker-supplied certificates. Standard deployments are affected; the published vector specifies adjacent-network access, and interception of outbound switch or peer communications additionally requires a man-in-the-middle position.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
