Unauthenticated Administrator creation via exposed AJAX nonce
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Privilege escalation in Flipper Code WP Maps Pro 6.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to create an Administrator account via AJAX. The public wpgmp_temp_access_ajax action accepts a frontend-exposed nonce and passes check_temp=false to a handler that creates a hardcoded Administrator through wp_insert_user(). No existing account is required, and the returned magic login URL authenticates the newly created account for complete site takeover.
