Core vulnerability in Oracle VM VirtualBox 7.2.16 allows local users to take over VirtualBox through local access on Windows hosts. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the Core component and has not published the operation on untrusted input that causes the flaw. Exploitation requires a low-privileged host account and grants control of VirtualBox, including its accessible data and execution.
