Repeated payer charges via challenge-unbound activation credentials
Published Sep 22, 2026 · Updated Sep 22, 2026
Authentication bypass in ZenHive MPP 0.14.0 through 0.16.1 allows remote attackers to repeatedly charge a payer using a captured credential. MPP.Methods.Tempo.KeyAuthorization.verify/3 checks subscription fields but not the issuing challenge, while activate/4 deduplicates only by challenge ID. Access to a signed activation credential is required; replay under fresh challenges repeats first-period settlement until subscription expiry.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
