Memory corruption via command-processing out-of-bounds write
Published Sep 24, 2026 · Updated Sep 24, 2026
An out-of-bounds write in Botslab G980H Dash Cam firmware allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory using crafted commands. The command processor writes attacker-controlled command data beyond its intended memory boundary, corrupting authentication state or terminating the process. Exploitation requires authentication and adjacent network access; process termination restarts the device and causes only a temporary service interruption.
