Unauthenticated file deletion via unchecked custom-field path
Published Oct 3, 2026 · Updated Oct 3, 2026
Arbitrary file deletion in VikAppointments Services Booking Calendar 1.2.21 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete files via booking forms. The extract function insufficiently validates the file path supplied through the old_vapcfN custom-field parameter before deleting the referenced file. Exploitation requires a File-type custom field published on the confirmation-page shortcode, which is absent by default; deletion of critical files can disrupt the site or enable code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
