Traffic slowdown via unthrottled monitoring requests
Published Oct 9, 2026 · Updated Oct 9, 2026
Resource exhaustion in MongoDB Ops Manager monitoring endpoints allows remote attackers to slow web traffic via repeated requests. These endpoints perform costly work for incoming requests without rate limiting, competing with other traffic served by the same process. Exploitation requires network access to the application web port but no authentication; the reported consequence is temporary slowdown while requests continue, not a crash or persistent outage.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=7.0.0 <=7.0.23
