Authenticated restricted-data access via missing authorization
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Missing authorization in Tanium Comply 2.32, 2.35, and 2.37 allows remote authenticated users to read and write restricted data. Tanium has not disclosed the affected request handler, data object, or the authorization check omitted when Comply Report operations access that data. Exploitation requires an authenticated Tanium account with the Comply Report permission; it exposes and permits modification of data beyond that account’s authorized scope.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
