Unauthenticated vote-limit bypass via spoofed forwarding headers
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Use of a less trusted source in WPMU DEV Forminator Forms before 1.57.2.1 allows remote attackers to bypass poll vote limits. The plugin trusts client-supplied forwarding headers without confirming a trusted proxy and uses the resulting address for vote enforcement and attribution. Any unauthenticated visitor able to reach a poll can submit unlimited votes and choose the address recorded for each submission.
