Browser script execution via unescaped PHP_SELF output
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Reflected XSS in NsThemes NS Product icon badge 1.2.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted URL. The options-page code inserts PHP_SELF into form action attributes without sanitizing the path or escaping it for HTML output. Exploitation requires a victim to follow the crafted link, after which the injected script runs in that victim's browser context.
