Authenticated data access via user-controlled record key
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Improper authorization in Tanium Comply affected releases allows remote authenticated users to read or write other users' data. The Comply report access-control path accepts a user-controlled record key without enforcing ownership, allowing cross-record access. Reachability requires a Tanium account with Comply Report Read, Comply Report Content Read, or Comply Report Write permission; the consequence is limited to unauthorized data access or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=2.32 <2.32.252
