CVE-2026-87033Network attack vector

Cross-content report modification via unchecked identifier

Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026

Authorization bypass in Tanium Comply allows remote authenticated users to modify network reports assigned to other content sets. The network-report update path accepts a user-controlled report identifier without enforcing the report's content-set boundary. The affected versions are before 2.32.252 in the 2.32 branch, before 2.35.306 in the 2.35 branch, and before 2.37.308 in the 2.37 branch; exploitation requires Comply Report Write permission and permits unauthorized report changes.
