Authenticated form overwrite via missing capability check
Published May 22, 2026 · Updated May 22, 2026
Authorization bypass in Vedrixa Forms 1.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to overwrite any form's field structure. The wefb_save_form_structure AJAX handler writes attacker-controlled form data to the FORMS table without checking user capabilities. Subscriber-level access is sufficient because the required ajax-nonce is injected into frontend pages containing a form shortcode; exploitation alters fields without reported confidentiality or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
