Unauthenticated booking-note modification via unchecked AJAX action
Published May 22, 2026 · Updated May 22, 2026
Missing authorization in MotoPress Hotel Booking 6.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite or delete any booking's internal notes. The mphb_update_booking_notes AJAX action accepts an arbitrary booking ID and updates _mphb_booking_internal_notes without checking booking access. Every public page exposes the action nonce through MPHB._data.nonces, so exploitation requires neither an account nor prior interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
