Unauthenticated code execution via SafeUnpickler bypass
Published Sep 11, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Remote code execution in SGLang 0.5.18 and earlier allows remote attackers to run operating system commands through a crafted tensor update. SafeUnpickler permits builtins.import and builtins.getattr, letting pickle REDUCE obtain os.system and invoke attacker-controlled commands. The endpoint is network-reachable without credentials when no API keys are configured, and commands run with the SGLang process account.
