Unauthenticated post disclosure via unchecked AJAX action
Published Oct 6, 2026 · Updated Oct 6, 2026
Information disclosure in Slider Pro 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read non-public post metadata through an AJAX action. The reported sliderpro_multiple_images action lacks an authorization check before returning post titles, excerpts, permalinks, revisions, and media metadata. No login is required, but public WordPress listings identify the 1.0.0 plugin as a different publisher from bqworks, leaving applicability to the cataloged product unverified.
