Cross-user CSV preview disclosure via unscoped importer queries
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Authorization bypass in Grokability Snipe-IT 7.0.12 through 8.6.3 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' CSV previews. The files() and activeFile() properties query Import records without owner or company scope, and selectFile() accepts enumerable record IDs. Access requires an authenticated non-superuser with import permission; exposure is limited to record metadata, headers, and the first CSV row.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
