Bluetooth security downgrade via weak re-pairing

Authentication bypass in Silicon Labs Simplicity SDK before 2024.12.0 allows physically proximate attackers to downgrade Bluetooth LE security. During re-pairing, the Bluetooth LE stack accepts security properties weaker than those stored for the prior bond instead of requiring them to match or exceed the earlier pairing. Exploitation requires deletion of an existing bond, impersonation of the bonded device, and creation of a weaker replacement bond that reduces protection for subsequent device interactions.
