License key disclosure via missing viewKeys checks
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Grokability Snipe-IT before 8.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to read license product keys. The CSV exporter writes the raw licenses.serial value after checking only licenses.view, while API filters and searches expose key matches through response counts without consulting viewKeys. An account with licenses.view but without licenses.keys, licenses.create, or licenses.edit can export every in-scope key or validate candidate keys.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
