Authenticated file read and SSRF via EULA images
Published Sep 9, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Arbitrary file read and SSRF in Grokability Snipe-IT before 8.7.0 allow remote authenticated users to retrieve server-accessible data. The raw category EULA enters checkout Markdown mail, where the auto-embed listener fetches image paths with file_get_contents or curl and attaches the response. A low-privilege asset clerk needs seven routine permissions, default-enabled mail auto-embedding, and working outbound mail; readable secrets and internal HTTP responses reach the attacker's mailbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
