Authenticated code execution via arbitrary transform class
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
Code injection in Pixel & Tonic Craft CMS before 5.10.12 allows remote authenticated users to execute code through element-index criteria. ElementIndexesController retains criteria[withTransforms][0][class], and ImageTransforms::normalizeTransform lets that value replace the intended class passed to Craft::createObject. Exploitation requires control-panel and viewAssets access to a nonempty volume; the bundled PhpManager gadget executes as the web process by requiring a request log containing a User-Agent PHP payload.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
