Authenticated code execution via field-layout behavior injection
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Object injection in Pixel & Tonic Craft CMS 5.0.0-RC1 through 5.10.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. String-encoded field-layout tab elements bypass configuration cleansing, allowing Yii2 behavior attachments and event handlers to reach Craft::createObject(). Any authenticated control-panel account can trigger arbitrary object instantiation and execute code with the web process's privileges.
