CVE-2026-86720Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Restream hijacking via unchecked destination identifier

Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026

Missing authorization in AVideo through commit c3edcc274c389816d434acadac07ee78eaf330c1 allows remote authenticated users to hijack destinations. The endpoint validates ownership of live_transmitions_history_id but passes an arbitrary live_restreams_id to Live::restream(), which loads another user's stream URL and key. Exploitation requires an authenticated account with canStream, an attacker-owned history row, an enabled Live plugin, and a victim restream row; the result is unauthorized broadcasting to the victim's YouTube, Facebook, or Twitch destination.
