CVE-2026-8672

Configuration database access via default credentials

Published May 22, 2026 · Updated May 22, 2026

Use of a default password in Avantra's internal configuration database before 25.3.0 allows local users to read and modify stored data. The database authentication path accepts vendor-defined default credentials instead of requiring an installation-specific secret. Exploitation requires high local privileges on Linux or Windows; access discloses configuration data and permits limited changes without interrupting service.
