Read-only proxy redirection via missing permission validation
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Broken access control in ManageEngine Applications Manager 182000 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to change proxy settings. The proxy synchronization endpoint accepts a read-only user's configuration change without enforcing the administrator-only permission. A low-privileged account is required; an attacker-controlled proxy can intercept monitor credentials and manipulate outbound monitoring responses.
