Unauthorized MBean actions via missing scope validation
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Broken access control in ManageEngine Applications Manager 182200 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run out-of-scope MBean actions. MBean action execution fails to validate both the requested action and whether its target monitor belongs to the user's assigned monitor groups. Low-privileged operator or delegated-administrator access is required; consequences depend on the configured action and include service disruption or deployment changes.
