Cross-scope monitor deletion via unchecked Service IDs
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Broken access control in ManageEngine Applications Manager 182000 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete out-of-scope monitors. The service-monitor deletion path accepted a Service ID without confirming that the requested monitor belonged to the caller's assigned scope. Operator or delegated-administrator access is required; deletion disrupts monitoring coverage and future alerts and can remove related history.
