Administrator takeover via synchronization SQL execution
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Authorization bypass in ManageEngine Applications Manager 182000 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access. The Enterprise synchronization channel lets a low-privileged user register an unauthorized managed server, then makes the Central server execute attacker-controlled SQL from insufficiently protected responses. Low-privileged console access and Enterprise Edition are required; exploitation permits database modification, service-privileged code execution, and compromise of connected Probe servers.
