Data disclosure via unrestricted server-side URL fetching
Published Oct 5, 2026 · Updated Oct 5, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Eclipse Che 7.29.0 through 7.122.0 allows remote authenticated users to read pod files and internal HTTP responses. The SCM and factory resolver endpoints pass caller-controlled URLs to URLFetcher.fetch(), which opens connections without restricting schemes or destinations and returns the response body. A Che account enables direct access to reachable resources, while opening a workspace from a malicious devfile can also send the victim's stored SCM token to an attacker-controlled host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
