Unauthenticated shortcode execution via untrusted form entries
Published Sep 23, 2026 · Updated Sep 23, 2026
Shortcode injection in Ninja Tables before 5.2.17 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes through public form entries. Fluent Forms-backed table rendering expands shortcode syntax from row values without restricting expansion to administrator-authored rows. Exploitation requires the non-default Fluent Forms data source on a public table; a crafted entry can invoke installed shortcode handlers and permanently break that page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
