Credential exposure in affected Snowflake drivers allows attackers who control connection settings to capture workload identity tokens. The WORKLOAD_IDENTITY flow fetches a fresh ambient-cloud attestation and attaches it to login before confirming that the configured host belongs to Snowflake. Exploitation requires an existing ambient identity and permits bounded token replay; Azure-controlled audiences can also expose access to other resources.
